We work hard to exceed expectations for your delivery experience. We aim to provide excellent communication regarding your expected delivery. You will receive a confirmation notice (via email, phone or text) 3 Days in advance of your scheduled delivery date. You will receive notification about your delivery window the afternoon before your delivery date. If requested, you will receive notification when your team is roughly 30 minutes away. Our delivery service includes the delivery and set-up of your newly purchased merchandise from Harte’s Home. If you have made the selection for mattress removal, it will be noted on your invoice and our team will be prepared to take the old mattress at the time of delivery. They will only be allowed to take away the pieces that are indicated on your invoice so be sure to discuss that in advance with your sales specialist.
Our premium delivery service fee for local customers starts at just $89 for orders up to $1499 and equal roughly 6% of the retail sale amount over $1500 (with a maximum delivery fee of $499). We offer a flat $69 fee for Recliners only and there is no charge for premium mattress purchases over $799. We can deliver throughout Massachusetts as well as parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island and into New Hampshire. If you need delivery in another state or to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, please inquire about our ability to assist and additional fees for out of area deliveries.
1. Due to insurance limitations, our delivery drivers are not permitted to move existing furniture in your home when they arrive to deliver your new furnture. Please arrange to have the necessary furniture moved before the drivers arrive.
2. To ensure a successful delivery, please take a moment to measure the interior rooms, stairways, hallways and doorways to be sure that your new furniture or mattress will fit. If you expect the delivery to be challenging, please notify us in advance by calling (508) 438-4401.
3. Make sure the exterior pathways and areas receiving furniture are free from all obstructions.
4. Make sure that your driveway is cleared of any parked vehicles or obstructions that could prevent our delivery truck from approaching your address. Please also pay attention to weather conditions and address any issues before the team arrives at your home (shoveling of snow, mitigate puddles, etc).
If you feel there will be complications that could impact the delivery process, it is important that you call (508) 438-4401 in advance so that our team can prepare for the situation accordingly.
If you are advised by a member of our delivery team that your delivery will be challenging and you would like to attempt the delivery anyways, you must request a waiver from our delivery team and agree to release Harte’s Home of any damages that may occur during the delivery attempt.
Upon delivery, please thoroughly inspect your furniture and/or mattress. Verify that the order is correct. In order to complete the delivery process, you will be required to sign a form stating that you approve of the condition of your merchandise after it has been placed in your home. If there are any issues or concerns, please have our delivery team note the issue on their tablet for follow up from a customer care associate.
